Please join us for "Mother Talk," an old-fashioned literary salon with good food, good company, and good conversation with Andi Buchanan and contributors to her new anthology, It's a Boy: Women Writers on Raising Sons.

It's a Boy features 30 essays on the mysteries of boys and includes the work of NYC-area writers Ona Gritz, Gwendolen Gross, Caroline Leavitt, Sue O'Doherty, Lisa Peet, Maura Rhodes, Rochelle Shapiro, and Kate Staples. Joyce Maynard says of the book, "Andrea Buchanan has put together a terrific collection of diverse voices on the subject... These are funny, true, and occasionally heartwrenching essays [that] make me wish I could do it all again."
